Where are FolioSnap websites hosted? All FolioSnap websites are hosted at our world-class datacenter in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, on high-speed Red Hat Linux Enterprise servers. Strategically located for optimal speed and performance, the datacenter is connected directly and redundantly to the Internet backbone with nearly unlimited burstable bandwidth capacity. A dedicated staff monitors our server network 24 hours a day, ensuring that your website will always be online, delivering your portfolio to the world lightning-fast and on demand. Does FolioSnap limit disk space or bandwidth usage? Absolutely not. Unlike typical web hosts who limit your disk space and charge you extra for bandwidth overages, we put no restrictions whatsoever on these resources. Unlimited disk space means you can upload your images and other assets without regard for filesize or quotas. Unlimited bandwidth means you'll never be penalized for having a popular and heavily-trafficked website. What are the technical requirements for using FolioSnap? FolioSnap is 100% compatible with both the Windows and Mac OS platforms. It's also 100% compatible with every major web browser. However, we recommend that you use the most recent version of the Firefox or Internet Explorer web browser (with javascript, cookies, and flash support enabled) for optimal performance with our website administration tools. Visitors to your website have no technical requirements whatsoever and can view your online portfolio regardless of their operating system, web browser, or other settings. LAMP is an acronym for each of its four major building blocks, Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP, and is widely recognized as the de facto technology standard for progressive website development and deployment. Specifically, Red Hat Linux Enterprise Server is the operating system, Apache is the web server, MySQL is the relational database management system, and PHP is the robust scripting language that runs the whole enterprise. Additionally, 128-bit SSL encryption technology is employed to safeguard any personal data that is managed through our online services. Does FolioSnap have a service uptime guarantee? Yes.
