A Brief History

Launched in 2005, FolioSnap was conceived and developed by Globalcentric LLC founder Josh Rencher following years of hands-on leadership experience in corporate web development and marketing technologies. His vision, unique in its time, was to empower artists, photographers, and other creative people with the ability to showcase their best work online in a way that was simple, flexible, and affordable.

Since that time, FolioSnap has grown to become an all-inclusive portfolio website development platform used by thousands of creative people representing more than 30 countries and every creative medium. We've remained small and nimble, however, with fewer than a dozen employees, which affords us the flexibility to innovate and grow continuously in collaboration with our valued customers and technology partners.

FolioSnap is headquartered in Long Beach, California, with virtual offices in other cities. We are a privately owned subsidiary of Globalcentric LLC.
